Looking for a New Way to Exercise? Don’t Snub Water Aerobics

Okay, you have to admit it, when most of us think of water aerobics, we think of a group of fun-loving senior citizens with nose plugs and arm floaties—which no doubt would be a great time for everyone involved. But the reality of it is that water aerobics is not for the faint of heart.

Did you can burn up to 700 calories in a single hour of water aerobics? And you can do it without breaking a sweat—well, not a sweat that you can see anyway.

Being the water is a blast and a great break from any worn out exercise routine—plus, you get all of the social and motivational benefits of being a part of a class, without having to fight for that last yoga mat.

Don’t believe me? See what Deb Nelis—as 3 year post-op patient of the St.Vincent Bariatric Center of Excellence—has to say about it.
